Portugal with Partial Confinement.

Since today, there are new rules in Portugal to combat COVID-19.

These rules are valid for 2 weeks, until 23 November.

This set of rules complements the previous ones, but ONLY applies to these 121 municipalities.

This list is dynamic, with the criterion of identifying more than 240 new cases of COVID-19 per 100,000 inhabitants, in the last 14 days.

The Partial Confinement is the rule that will have the biggest impact for the Portuguese, but also for those who visit us.

Although there are several exceptions to this rule, such as short walks close to home, you will not be allowed to go outside between 11.00pm and 5.00am on weekdays and from 13.00 to 5.00 am on weekends.

Other rules implemented:

1 - The possibility of performing body temperature measurements, when accessing:

- Work places;

- Educational establishments;

- Public transport;

- Commercial, cultural and sports spaces.

 2 - The possibility of requiring COVID-19 diagnostic tests in the following situations:

- In health facilities.

- In residential structures;

- In educational establishments;

- On entering and leaving national territory, by air or sea;

- In prison establishments;

- Other locations, as determined by the DGS.

You can see here the document issued by the government and / or consult directly in the Diário da República.

Due to the mandatory confinement rule, there will be changes in the schedules of our bicycle tours in Lisbon. Changes will only take place on the weekends of 14/15 de and 21/22 de November. The morning bike tours will start at 9.00 am and we must cancel the afternoon bike tours.
