It allows us to go through more historical sites, or enjoy more of the mountain, we can even choose to spend more time on the beaches, or take the opportunity to reconcile all this with a good lunch in one of the many friendly restaurants that exist here.
In Sintra the diversity is immense!
Cycling gives us an enormous sense of freedom, but the advantage of cycling in Sintra is that in addition to this feeling of freedom, with everything you have to discover and with this whole environment, it makes you free, with don't think about all the other things and give yourself 100% to everything you are seeing and experiencing.
One of the areas of this natural park that is very beautiful is the top of the cliffs, next to the Atlantic, close to the westernmost point of Europe, Cabo da Roca.
Here the landscape is brutal, the view is unbelievably beautiful and the huge cliffs, over 90 meters high, shaped by the force of the Atlantic and the wind, are wonderful.
And here, in a place of difficult access, we find another curiosity, the Fojo do Alvidrar.
Fojo do Alvidral it's a huge crater (90 mt), like a well, in the shape of a cone, which at the bottom has sea water.
It's a surprising place, about which there are several legends and which is just one more example of everything you can find and discover during this tour.
